Hod Orkibi, PhD, <\/strong>is a certified psychodrama therapist and a Full Professor (tenured) at the School of Creative Arts Therapies, University of Haifa, Israel. Hod acts as the Chair of the Doctoral Program Committee and is the director of the Drama & Health Science Lab<\/em>. He is also an adjunct professor at New York University\u2019s drama therapy program in the USA. His research areas include psychodrama\/drama therapy process and outcomes; arts-based community rehabilitation; creativity and wellbeing; and systematic reviews. He has secured several competitive grant funds, has published over 100 articles and chapters, and his work has been presented at international conferences. He is also the President-elect (2026-2028) of the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts (Division 10) at the American Psychological Association Council of Representatives.<\/p>\n

Prof. Orkibi has been awarded private and public grant funds, including from the Israel Science Foundation, the Ministry of Science and Technology in Israel, the National Insurance Institute of Israel, and the European Union. He serves as an Associate Editor of the American Psychological Association Division 10’s journal Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts<\/em><\/a>. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of the international journal The Arts in Psychotherapy<\/em>, the Drama Therapy Review<\/em><\/a> – Journal of the North American Drama Therapy Association, the GMS Journal of Arts Therapies<\/em><\/a>, and the Academic Journal of Creative Arts Therapies<\/em><\/a>.  He represents Division 10 \u2013 the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts \u2013 on the APA\u2019s Council of Representatives (2019-2025). He is also an active member of the International Research Alliance of the NYU Creative Arts Therapies Consortium<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
